CANTON, N.Y. Buffalo State closed out its 2019 season this afternoon as it compete in the NCAA Atlantic Regionals at the Ronald C. Hoffman Cross Country Course, placing 28th out of 42 teams.

MILTON, N.Y.— Freshman Sembel Koshi (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) led Buffalo State today at the SUNYAC Championships at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome, placing 18th of 116 runners, leading the Bengals to a seventh-place team finish.

Buffalo State is saddened by the loss of 1999 Athletics Hall of Fame inductee Michael Collopy who passed away on Oct. 26, 2019, at the age of 73.

BUFFALO, N.Y. Freshman Sembel Koshi (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) set a new personal best as he finished 38th-place in the 158-runner field as Buffalo State finished 9th of 12 teams at the highly competitive Canisius Alumni Classi this afternoon.

MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. Sembel Koshi (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) paced the Bengals at the Geneseo Mike Woods Invite with a 32nd-place in the 314 runner field as Buffalo State finished 15th of 24 teams.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. Freshman Sembel Koshi (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) led Buffalo State with a 17th place finish in the 252-runner field as the Bengals finished 11th of 21 teams in the Harry F. Anderson Invite today at Roberts Wesleyan.

ERIE, Pa.— Buffalo State finished third of 13 complete teams in its first 8K meet of the season today at the Penn State Behrend Twilight Invite.

GRAND ISLAND, N.Y.— Sembel Koshi (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) used a dominant late kick to win his first collegiate race, pacing Buffalo State to a team title at the Daniel Walker Invitational today at Beaver Island State Park.

Buffalo State Cross Country will host walk-on tryouts on Wednesday, August 28 at 7 a.m. on the outdoor track at Coyer Field. The tryout is open to any current full-time Buffalo State undergraduate student with remaining NCAA eligibility.
